Bread Care

Keeping Your Bread Fresh

Our breads can stay fresh in a few ways:

  1. Placed face side down on a cutting board.
This will help the bread stay fresh for 1-2 days.

  2. Stored in a brown paper bag.
This will help the bread stay fresh for 1-3 days. We don’t recommend storing your bread in plastic at room temperature as it promotes mold growth.

  3. Stored in the freezer.
To prevent freezer burn in your bread, wrap each slice, loaves or English Muffins in something (aluminum foil, paper bag or plastic) before placing into a freezer container — this will keep any unwanted moisture out. Bring the frozen bread back to life by defrosting on the countertop for 1-2 hours, spritz with water and pop it in a hot oven to get it crisp again.

ALLERGY INFORMATION

While we do our best to cover all allergy information with the ingredients list on the individual bread page there are allergy questions that arise for specific allergies in context to specific breads.  Please reach out to blueovencustomerservice@gmail.com for specific allergy questions.
